Our studio building was donated to us rent free in downtown Sheffield by a local business woman and her husband. Our transmitter and tower is south of Wyanet, nestled in the wind farms overlooking the city of Princeton. When we expressed our desire to be involved in local Christian broadcasting, WCIC (who previously owned that equipment) traded their existing signal and transmission equipment with us for the license we had been granted for the Sterling area. In 2012, WCIC moved to their new signal and WUNT now owned a station and signal, but wasn't ready to broadcast—so we went dark for 6 months and began building our studio. Fundraising was slow and technical challenge faced us each step of the way, but on Easter Sunday, March 24th, 2013, WUNT signed on the air.
We offer a variety of locally produced programs, as well as a wide variety of music. From “Christian Oldies” to some of today's best music, we offer a unique mix that lifts high the name of Christ and draws listeners closer to Him.
We love being a community station—involved in promoting local events, addressing local issues and reflecting the tastes and distinctives of our area in the product we offer. We look forward to being a part of your life each and everyday. We hope that you will support us as we encourage unity in the local church and participate in the transformation of our community through you!
Grace and peace,
